Running through the field, walking the brick paths, and snuggling up on the porch while the sun sets, Kim and Logan’s engagement session at Eden Gardens State Park was everything I love about photographing couples. Golden light, towering oak trees, and the iconic columns of the historic Wesley House created the dreamiest setting for a simple, romantic, and natural engagement session. What made this one extra special for me though is that Kim and Logan have actually been in front of my camera since the very beginning of my photography journey.

Back in 2023, Kim responded to a beach model call I had posted while I was building my portfolio. This ended up being our third session together since then. Getting to see them again and capture another chapter of their life together means so much to me. They are seriously the sweetest and most easygoing couple. Logan is the definition of a true gentleman, and the way these two interact with each other makes my job so easy. Every time we shoot together it just feels more comfortable and natural than the last. So when Kim reached out and told me they wanted to book me for their wedding in Pensacola, I felt incredibly honored. Being trusted to capture moments like this is something I never take for granted.

For this session, we kept everything really simple and true to them. No over complicated posing, just genuine moments together.

Sessions like this are always my favorite. The ones that feel effortless and natural.
